LORYS Hair Cream Review

Thursday, August 4, 2011

As you all might already know, I enjoy experimenting with my hair. I am not of afraid of using bleach, hair dye and other chemicals because after all, it's just hair. I can always chop it off if it turns out badly.

Recently, I dyed my hair 3 times within a day and a half, trying to achieve the perfect ombre look. That was too much, even for me. So you can just imagine how dry and frizzled my hair turned out the following day.

Good thing I have guardian angels watching over me cause when I opened my email the following day, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I won Pax's Lorys Hair Cream giveaway. It couldn't have come at a better time!

Right when the package arrived, I opened it up eagerly and took a good whiff at it. It smelled like a very expensive salon.
It's consistency is thick and buttery. Like buttery gel if you get my drift...
The instructions on the back say to leave it on for 2 minutes after shampooing and rinsing your hair for use as a regular conditioner or leave on for 15 minutes if you want an intensive treatment. I'm lazy when it comes to these things and I get bored staying in the shower for long periods (my bath tub is clogged and I think filling it up is a waste of precious water) so even if my hair was begging for a treatment, I just opted for the normal 2 minute route. And this is how I do it.
  • Wet head and body
  • Shampoo
  • Rinse
  • Apply LORYS hair cream, massage onto scalp, pay attention to ends
  • Leave on while...
  • soaping body and other precious parts, shave if you must :P
  • I think that constitutes about 2 minutes or more
  • Rinse off hair cream and soap.
  • Towel dry
The moment you apply LORYS hair cream to your stressed out locks, you will immediately realize how special it is. I could actually feel my hair getting softer after every stroke and massage. It felt as if my hair was thirsty and LORYS was just the right nourishment it needed. I felt it drinking and absorbing the hair cream hungrily. Once you start rinsing it off, your hair will instantly feel smooth and silky. I know it sounds like a tired commercial but it's true. I have tried several hair creams in the past due to my naughty hair habits but none have ever felt the same way LORYS did and I just used it as a regular conditioner! I can only imagine the miracles of what an intensive treatment will do. (which I'm actually planning on doing during this coming weekend :))
What I love about LORYS Hair Cream:
  • the price is very reasonable. less than P400 (i think) for a ginormous pot!
  • easy to find, hello, Watson's?
  • works miracles
  • smells luxurious
  • leaves your hair smelling beautiful all day...will make your significant other wanna bury his head in your tresses
  • VERY easy to use
  • salon quality treatment without having to leave the comfort of your bathroom and paying a hefty price
Is it obvious? Yes, I am addicted and ecstatic! Why? Well, because it doesn't seem like I abused my hair at all! LORYS just erased my ugly (hair) past! Go get yourself a pot NOW! :)

I would try this if it were available here. Unfortunately, I don't think it is. Also, in the U.S. Watson's is a pool supply store. Ha! :) Thanks for sharing!
