What I Wore Today: The Story Behind The Red Ribbon

Thursday, October 20, 2011

This was actually a very lazy outfit I wore to a casual work meeting in the mall. Yes, it's not very professional, but when you work in the creative field, these trivial things are forgiven ;) However, I still wouldn't wear shorts to a formal meeting.

So anyway, the shorts were already on me the whole day so I changed my top back into the top I wore for like less than an hour the previous night to the Multiply Shopping Party and just covered it up with a jacket cause it was pretty chilly yesterday and our meeting was in Shangri-la where it's always freezing cold.

The Red Ribbon:

I have been working with a stuffed toy like caterpillar prototype which my daughter fell in love with. She didn't want me to take it to work or to return it to the person responsible for creating prototypes. My heart broke so I asked the "prototyper" to create a custom one for her. This red ribbon is her "pay back" gift to me. She said I can tie it on my bag or put it in my hair. Sweet no? <3

I've been really stressed lately and I am so thankful that I have a lovely family to go home to everyday. Their presence really makes things a lot easier for me. I love you guys! :)

Ah I hope whenever I start my career that I can get away with wearing casual and chic clothes. I don't think I could survive if I absolutely had to dictate my wardrobe to fit a uniform!
