“GET UP” is a CSR platform which engages customers in raising awareness of GABC’s various advocacies in education, community building, environment, and arts & culture.

By shopping at Penshoppe, Regatta, Forme, Oxygen, and Memo, you are given the chance to help out and donate to its partner charities.

“GET UP is not just about what people wear, but it is also the call to action to do something valuable for others and the country,” said Bernie H.Liu, CEO & president of Golden ABC
During the event, some of us were asked the question, "What do you get up for in the morning?" That night, my answer was the environment since it was the first thing that entered my mind and this issue has always been close to my heart. However, after reading up on Get Up's partner charities, I was overcome with an overwhelming sense of realization that there is something more infinite and important than the environment. It's LIFE. Life is the web that connects us all and this time through this latest partnership, we have the power to inspire, the power to give life, and the power to provide the opportunity for others (be it other persons or wildlife) to live life the way they should and deserve to LIVE it.
So what do YOU get up for?

I wore this "get up" last Thursday when I was invited by Golden ABC (the company behind Penshoppe, Regatta, Forme, Memo, Oxygen, Tyler and Red Logo) to the launch of their latest advocacy campaign called Get Up at the Museum Cafe in Greenbelt.

Just another quick outfit post of something I wore a few days ago to do some errands. Can't talk much, VERY busy day ahead.

When I was younger, I used to go to Racks all the time with my family, usually for Sunday dinner. However, since the restaurant boom these past few years, there are just so many new places to try that you sometimes tend to forget the old favorites. A few days ago, during an insatiable craving for ribs, we decided to give Racks a try again. Still the same, hasn't changed since the 90's.

Just a short outfit post today. I don't have much time, still a lot left on my to-do list plus I have several DIYs that I can't wait to get started on :)

If you recall from a few posts ago, myself and a few other bloggers were invited by Tops to get to know the brand a little better. As a token of their appreciation, we were given a couple of GC's along with some other stuff. Since all the Tops branches are located quite a distance away from my place, it took awhile for me to visit them.

They also carried other brands like Quiksilver, Hugo Boss, Victoria's Secret, Barbie, Elle, Terranova and H&M to name a few.
Since I was feeling quite generous that day, I decided to give my GC's to Dennis so he and Nikola could share them and these are what we came home with:
I brought home just one little itty bitty pair pf Terranova shorts which were like P100 only. I got Barbie and Old Navy leggings for Nikola and 3 pairs of pants for Dennis:
The Levi's were such a steal for only P900 each! And if you're wondering...no, they're not the typical discounted "daddy cut" pairs, they're actually really nice. Slim and tapered!
