1 Woman, 1 Brush, 1 Week

I'm sorry for the lack of posts this week. I've been really busy painting the house. I'm not sure if it's evident in the photos but our walls are textured and it was impossible for me to paint them with a roller. I had to use a brush. There were a of couple days when I felt like I bit off more than I could swallow but I'm happy I didn't quit. The results are worth it. Now take me to the spa.

"Helping me out". These two are just so adorable sometimes...rather, most of the time.

Now for the tour. I forgot to take more "before" photos but if you've been a follower of my blog for some time, you would've seen the "befores" through some past outfit shots.

Painted the igorot lamps again but this time in yellow. I got rid of the shades too for a more torchlike + industrual effect. Painted the buffet table and mirror as well.

And re-arranged some of the furniture...

Moved some of my records and books to the buffet...+ a photo of my mamita and pahoney when they were still young and kickin' it. Love this photo of them.  <3

Propped my turntable on Pahoney's old trunk that houses his accordion.

That's it for now. Hope I didn't bore you with another "home post".  I still have the bedrooms and kitchens to re-do next but I'm taking a few days off to recuperate first. I need to visit the salon and spa but it's back to regular blog programming starting tomorrow and to make up for lost time, I have another special surprise in store for all of you.
