Afternoon Tea with Daphne Osena Paez - The Daphne X Bench Home Scents Launch at Dimesione BGC

Wednesday, June 13, 2012

Lifestyle icon, Daphne Osena Paez recently collaborated with Bench to release a line of reed stick diffusers. The line is available in three variants, homemade lemon tart, acres of lavender and mint jasmine infusion.

To celebrate this recent collaboration an event was held at the Dimensione flagship store in The Fort, BGC in the form an Afternoon Tea catered by Bizu. The well attended launch was hosted by Raymond Guitierez.

Here are some snaps from the said event:

Daphne who is also coined as the "Martha Stewart of the Philippines" showed up at the event wearing a beautiful necklace she made herself just hours before the launch.

Daphne's best selling, export quality "Daphne" chairs have also found a new home in Dimensione. Expect more furniture from the Daphne Osena line in Dimesione soon. The Daphne chairs are exquisite, elegant, dainty and just truly adorable. I want the purple one for Nikola's room <3

During her interview, Daphne said that she spent almost a year developing the new scents with a team of French Perfumers from Grasse, France, where Bench also sources their ingredients and know how for their line of celebrity fragrances.

After taking a whiff of all three, I must say, that the hardwork, dedication and patience have definitely paid off. The result are delicate, beautiful scents that are not overpowering. A Daphne X Bench diffuser left in any room will instantly add a lingering aroma that creates a classy "scentsational" appeal to any space.

With each bottle retailing for only P348, the Daphne X Bench Home Scents collection is a luxury everyone can enjoy. Gone are the days of P2000/bottle diffusers and having them only in one room. Now every room in your home can smell delicious.

And lastly, aside from the scent, I also love the classy minimalistic design of the Bench X Daphne bottles. A lot of diffusers being sold in the market today come in generic looking glass bottles which do little justice for a room. The design of Daphne's scent diffuser bottles make them  a worthy addition to any home.

They really look good in mine and I plan on buying several more for our bedrooms and bathrooms. The homemade lemon tart scent is great at curbing and masking odors due to its citrusy notes so it makes it perfect for bathrooms. Although I also love it in my living room. Makes it seem as though I slave baking in the kitchen all day. Who doesn't love to come home to a house that smells like freshly baked goodies?

Since they're so affordable, I don't have to "commit" to one scent as well. I plan to get the Lavender reed oil diffuser for my living room in a week or two.

Daphne X Bench Home Scents is available in all Bench and Dimensione branches nationwide.
