zara brown buckle boots street style

Happy Sunday everyone, here's a laidback outfit for a hopefully equally as laidback afternoon.

I am officially pooped and I promise from here on out, for at least 2 weeks, I am saying no to the liquor and yes to the spa.

I had to force myself out of bed and into the shower by 6pm yesterday since I promised to meet Bestie at the Appraisery by 7. I made it on time (hehe, it's a block away) and it turned out to be game night. I didn't realize they stocked a lot of "indie" board games (for lack of a better term), these are games you won't find in  any Toy Kingdom or Toys R Us. They're for the hardcore "board-gamers",  a little more well thought of, definitely more challenging and you will really need to excercise your brain muscles (?). We played this game called "Rattus" which is a little bit like chess. The object of the game is to save your population from the plague (mega serious plot, right??) Half the time I didn't know what I was doing but I managed to win. I felt a little bit like a cool, 1980's Dungeons N Dragons super nerd. It's not really my cup of tea but I have to admit that it is quite catching. I might look up their other less serious games sometime. (you can buy from them too)

So anyway, in relation to my previous post, I guess someone put on Nirvana somewhere because later in the night, I found myself partying (against my will) in URBN. URBN is a super hip bar/kitchen in the Fort that serves expensive drinks and features a plethora of young female patrons. Seriously. Hot chick mecca where you will also find A LOT of 30something males on the prowl. Makes me feel extremely relieved not to be single. Maybe I was just tired but I wasn't really feeling the place. But then again, club atmospheres were never really my thing. But if you're into that, then you should definitely check this place out. Me thinks it's the place to be right now for the younger set. I'm more of a Skye Lounge type of girl. To each his own right? :)

Love your shorts and Happy New Year, Sarah! I'm 26 and I'm even hating the club. It's noisy, smells of cigarette like you need a gas mask to breathe, and it's just not my kind of fun anymore. Baka housewife na ang peg ko. Chos lang. Haha!
