spring cleaning and a new venture?

Like I mentioned on twitter earlier today, I find it a little weird that all I've wanted to do since the onset of 2013 is clean. Yup, you heard it right. Despite still feeling a little worn out from all the holiday activities, I can't seem to help myself. It usually starts out with just me looking for something, like say, my white curtains, and then ending up with me rummaging and then organizing and cleaning the entire maids room. I have thrown so much trash out these past 3 days. Probably more than I ever did the last quarter of 2012. Weird. Perhaps it's because I have such a strong feeling that 2013 is going to be great and I want to be ready for it.

The onset of a new year always delivers so much promise. It's like a blank canvass with endless possiblities. For some reason, we are automatically taken out of our ruts and given the chance to start anew just like having an annual "get out of jail free" card.

There are so many new projects I want to get started on this year and one of them is to start a new business venture. Something small and fashion related.  I've been googling myself crazy the past month for inspiration and possible suppliers when I came across Seasons Online

They offer a lot of different hair and fashion accessories, when I say different, I mean it. It's not the typical stuff you find online or in Greenhills.

My eyes were immediately drawn to these edgy hair ties:

Which I would personally love to have as soon as my hair grows out long enough for a ponytail. What do you think? Yay or Nay?

Also these Shamballa bracelets. Never heard of them before but I checked them out on wikipedia and I guess they're a bit like those red kabbalah bracelets that were super popular a few years back. They come in a variety of colors and each color represents a certain strength. Also, I think they would make awesome arm candy when stacked together.

These are just a few ideas I've been tossing around here and there, I thought I'd blog about it and ask your opinion first before I invest. Let me know what you think.
Thank you and Cheers to new ventures and endless possibilities. Let's make this year our year!!! :)

Hi girl! I think going to selling fashionable pieces would be good for you since you always love fashion - and as for the accessories - I love them! Spunky yet chic. I agree, not the usual things you can see from Greenhills. The biggest challenge would be where to get a supplier.. as business should be sustainable. The problem with fashion accessories, when a certain design/print/style became popular, it is mass produced.. unless yours would be made of really fine material.

Anyway, good luck. Have a great year! See you soon!
