How would you like the power of an entire army protecting your precious gadgets? With Tech21's secret D30 impact naterial, it's now possible.

I attended a press launch for the product last week at Ramen Bar where we got familiarized with the science and design behind tech21 cases and we were all awestruck by this demo. They asked volunteer bloggers and media people to come forward and test the power of D30 by wrapping it around their finger then smashing it with an axe and a mallet! Scary! But surprisingly enough, their fingers came out of it unscathed. Of course I was super impressed.

How is this possible? D30 is composed of a non-Newtonian polymer with an intelligent molecular structure (whatever that means :P) that is so clever, it has been adopted worldwide by the military for its power in impact protection on the battlefield.
Basta, all I know and all that matters to me is that it works great and I can throw my phone, ipad around without worrying that it might get damaged. I probably won't be throwing them around but you catch my drift :) I also like the fact that they're not just functional but cute as well...and pretty affordable. Prices start at just P1200 for an iphone 5 case.

tech21 impactology cases

I was given an impactology case during the event and I liked it so much that it's giving me serious thoughts on upgrading my iPhone 4 just so I can use it. But for sure, I'm buying one for my iPad mini. Can't be too sure when you have kids handling your gadgets. Better safe than sorry. :)

Tech21 Impactology cases are available at Astroplus, Astrovision, Beyond the Box, Banana Telecom, Complink, Digihub, Digital Arena, Digital Hub, Digital Walker, E-Central, Games and Gadgets, Graphic All In, iCon, iGig, iStore, iStudio, Microstation, Mobile 1, R.O.X., Senco Link, Switch, Technoholics, The Inbox Store, and Vertex.

ps. they also manufacture cases for the Samsung Galaxy S4 :)
