le bunny bleu opens in manila

I never saw myself go nuts for flats the same way I did earlier today at the Le Bunny Bleu Flagship Store launch in Shangri-la. And it wasn't just me, I saw the looks on the other bloggers/media faces as well. We had the same sort of "deer caught in headlights" expression. To think we are kind of a seasoned bunch already when it comes to shoes and brand launches but Le Bunny Bleu was just too overwhelming - in a very good way. Everything was just so irrisistably cute.

It's no wonder why this New York based brand is such a hot commodity for Chictopians, Polyvore enthusiasts and popular K-Pop groups such as Girls Generation, After School and 4 minute. Le Bunny Bleu has also enjoyed numerous features in top fashion magazines like Nylon, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Vogue Girl, and Allure.

Aside from its obvious romantic vintage charm, the thing that makes Le Bunny Bleu's shoes so appealing to me is the attention they put into detail. The different colored soles which coordinate perfectly with the shades of the actual shoe turn something functional such as the sole, into an accent piece which adds a punch of style to the otherwise basic and standard silhuoettes of the ballet flat and brogue. Each piece is truly unique and one of a kind.

I'm sure you're all itching to see what's in store at Le Bunny Bleu's first flagship store in Manila so without further adieu, here are photos I took from the exclusive launch earlier today...

See what I mean about the soles and attention to detail? Not only are Le Bunny Bleu's shoes super cute, they're also very comfortable. A definite MUST for all flat shoes in my opinion. Le Bunny Bleu's are all crafted beautifully, super padded and without loose ends which result in a seamless fit.

Which is why it took most of us a really loooooong time to decide which pair to take home. Ultimately, this two-tone, black and white pair of oxfords finally won me over. What you think? :)

Here's more exciting news, Le Bunny Bleu releases over 100 styles per season and this September, I am more than happy to announce that they will be releasing Kids Styles and Sizes as well as water-resistant rain and wool boots which are perfect for the upcoming colder and wetter ber months.

Le Bunny Bleu is located at the 5/F Bridgeway, East Wing Shangrila Mall and this July 30, 2013, they will also be opening their second branch in Glorietta 5 so all you shoe addicts from the south need not travel too far to get your Le Bunny Bleu fix! :)

Enjoy the colorful, quirky and totally adorable styles of Le Bunny Bleu shoes for only P1995 - P2895!
