Shot this #ootd at Daan Park.

During our stay in Taipei, we booked our hotel in the Daan District. Couldn't have made a better decision. Out of all the places we visited, Daan remains to be my favorite. It's a mix of hi-lo, indie/corporate establishments but all are interesting and stylish in their own way. Will post more photos of the indie boutiques and cafes I frequented in a different post.

For now, here are some photos of Daan Park and an OOTD :)

By far, the Daan Park MRT station is the prettiest and most impressive one I've seen.

When you step out of the station, you'll find yourself right at the entrance of Daan Park and its shady trees, colorful flowers and lots of furry pooches taking a walk (or pooping :P) hahaha

One of my favorite staple outfits for traveling is matching a skirt with over the knee socks and coat.  When it gets too warm, I can easily roll down my socks and take off my coat. When it gets chilly, I just layer up again.

Another must-have for me are running shoes and the lightest (+cutest) and most comfortable pair I've tried on are Nike Roshe Run's. They are super soft, no chafing even after an entire day of walking around the city. The corrugated lunarlon sole is also very forgiving on the heels. These are my favorite travel shoes.

While we were taking pictures we also came across this crew who looked like they were shooting some cosplay thing. Pretty cool...
