What I Wore Today: The Vow

This is what I wore to the special screening of "The Vow" last Sunday which was made possible by our lovely friends from Carmex Philippines, Zoya Manila, and Organic Rituals Spa.

Bloggers and guests were treated to free-flowing popcorn and drinks. My kind of event! Chill, with lots of food and a great movie to boot.

Pink Manila Jacket, Ziggy Stardust shirt, DIY Maxi Skirt (BUY NOW) Mphosis Clutch, Foxtail from Bloggers United,

Skull bracelet from Anagon

As if being treated to a movie and snacks wasn't enough, the organizers gifted all the bloggers with this awesome goody bag filled with treats from Heno de Pravia, Zoya, Organic Rituals, and Carmex!
There were a lot more tubes of  Carmex lipgloss in the bag but my friends all helped themselves to it even before I got home! We all love Carmex! Who doesn't right? I think we all grew up with the brand. Same is true with Heno de Pravia. My 80's memories are all scented with it's "conyo", clean and powdery scent. I think I'm putting it back on the grocery list from now on! Along with it's cousin, Denenes! Remember that? I never realized that Nostalgia could smell so irrisistably good!

And Zoya, Zoya, Zoya! Finally, environment-friendly polish! I LOVE ZOYA, highly pigmented and VERY easy to apply. I promise to do a separate post on my Organic Rituals exeprience and a detailed Zoya Nail Polish review.

After the movie, me and Dennis decided to go on a pre-Valentine's date, get our bollywood on, and head on over to our favorite, hole-in-the-wall Indian Restaurant, Swagat.

Our Favorites (a.ka. stuff you must try):
Vegetable Samosas - eat with green, mint-coriander dip
Chicken Tikka Masala
Lamb Rogan Josh
The pre-requisite 2 types of carbs:
And my Valentine's flowers in the form of  a Rose Lassi. (Not really a fan of flowers I can't eat.)
My enamored date for the evening.
Swagat is located along Rada St. in Makati. There you have it. The rest is history.

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.Reading Glasses
So sad I missed the screening of The Vow! :( You looked so fierce and gorgeous, as always, babe! See you more this Feb? :)
