Glammed Up Spikes, Fur and Leather
Precisely what I love about fashion is its ability to morph with just a couple different tweaks here and there. It used to be that spikes and leather were solely reserved for the punk and glam rock scene but not anymore.
This year, I've noticed quite an abundance of grown-up versions and I am loving it.
Like I said a few posts ago, I've recently been in the mood to excessorize. Stacking things like there was no tomorrow. I am currently obssesed with these "personalized word bracelets" from Anagon. I got mine to spell "Lucky" which is truly how I've been feeling lately. I also have a couple more orders still in the works and I can't wait to get them and show them off. They truly are perfect pieces to inject your own personality into any arm party.
Moving on...wore this ensemble to the Clarins Double Serum launch the other day which was held at the presidential suite of the Manila Peninsula. (You can read about the launch HERE and my review HERE.) These intimate events don't usually take that long so Dennis decided to just have coffee at Ayala Triangle and wait for me. Which translates into a trek for me from the Pen to the Park. Happy to say that my new pretty pumps didn't fail me. I semi broke them in by wearing them around the house the day they arrived. They were comfy then and still were despite the stilleto heel, slight drizzle and fairly distant walk.
