thrown together

Hi all! Thanks for reading and leaving comments on my previous post. I didn't think anyone would bother or rather most would be embarassed to leave one. It's great to know that a lot of you are coming out of your shell. I really miss writing from the heart and I haven't had the chance to do so lately. I am hoping to pour more of my personal thoughts back into this blog just like I used to when it was fairly new. It's so easy to get sidetracked and "too busy" but lately, the keyboard has been beckoning me back.

So anyway, back to fashion...I haven't been in the mood to throw together elaborate outfits recently. Most of the time I've been dressing up in thrown together outfits like this and I'm not sure you would be interested since they're so basic, I haven't really been cataloging much but if you'd like to see more, let me know and I will.

My priorities lately are elsewhere. Speaking of which, I'm finally going to try and start realizing my dream by taking the plunge and enrolling myself in a voice class this summer. I have been procrastinating for 20 years and it's about time I finally kick myself in the ass and do it. Better to have tried than to regret, right?

Other than that, the spirit of summer is still strong with this one and all I've felt like doing lately is party (as you probably have noticed by my instagram photos and tags by my friends).  That's what summer is for after all right? Party and the beach. I love it. The only thing I can't stand is the blistering heat which makes it a bicth to wake up with a hangover.

Photos were taken in the new wing of Shangri-la Mall. Have you been? It is so nice. Almost feels like you travelled to a different country when you're inside. Lots of great new restaurants in there too. It's something to check out.
