(how to dress) casual parisian chic

Hi Guys, channeling my impression of what its like to dress up ala casual Parisian Chic for this ootd today. My impression because I'm not really familiar with it either aside from the obvious striped shirts which I find too obvious and wanted to veer away from for the Bensimon Sneakers launch.

When desperate measures arise, I always turn to Google! And from my casual research on casual Parisian chic, I learned that:

  1. must look effortless yet polished in a "street way"
  2. no frills
  3. flats are best
  4. comfort over style
  5. classic, well-tailored cuts
  6. interesting details
And now, my interpretation:

casual parisian chic
military vest street style
paris street style

And just like Google, my go-to, always dependable place to shop for fashion emergencies is SM Ladies Fashion. They always seem to have everything I need and I can go shopping for an entire outfit even when I'm broke. All the clothes I'm wearing in this post is from SM Ladies Fashion that I put together in a single hour of shopping and I got all 3 for under 2K! Really affordable for investment pieces that I can wear over and over and mix and match into endless outfit possibilities!

Been wearing this military inspired vest from Weekender almost everyday since I got it. It's perfect for our bipolar weather. Not too hot, not too light and it makes an interesting layering piece (also great for hiding the hips and unwanted bulges! ;))

added the CC brooch from Ahaii Shopping for added Parisian flair

What you think? Also, been embracing flat shoes more and more lately. They're easier on my troubled back.
