atl manila + hued bags
How do you shop for basic pieces?
I am more particular when it comes to basics than when I am on the hunt for trendier pieces. Basics seem straightfordward but when you're not careful to check for the little details, it can look matronly or office-y.
Yes there are thousands of pencil skirts out there but few have the ability to transition from day to night. They're either too tight, too short or too boxy. My new pencil skirt from ATL Manila is cut just right that it can be worn formally or casually with ease. I think it has to do with the way it flatters and tapers towards the knees.
I wore it for the first time during the release of Bahaus' new new brands Desigual and Codello. Being more of an urban inspired boutique, I decided to go with a street look pairing my pencil skirt with a funky sweater from romwe and my favorite snapback from Huf.

Caught by Ana in the act of switching to my real footwear of the day...metallic blue ballet flats from Hued Bags :P Honestly been too lazy to go out in heels lately and these were such steal. If I remeber right, I think they only go for around P500-600? They're also the softest and comfiest thing ever! :)
